5th Annual Gala Fundraising and Awards Banquet

Please mark your calendars for May 14th and plan to join us at the fifth annual Ottawa Evening 2003, a gala fundraiser and awards banquet co-hosted by Friends of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (FCIHR) and Partners in Research (PIR). The reception begins at 5:45 p.m. and dinner at 6:45 p.m. at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa. Funds raised from "The Ottawa Evening" are used to advance an understanding of the value of health research, through educational and outreach programs across Canada.

The Hon. Laurier LaPierre is the Master of Ceremonies and Dr. Arnold Naimark, Director of the Centre for the Advancement of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, is the guest speaker. Dr. Charles Hollenberg will be presented with the Friends of CIHR Distinguished Service Award. Individual tickets are $150.00 each and are also available in tables of eight or ten. Charitable receipts will be issued.
