Massey College is celebrating its 60th anniversary this Fall beginning in September 2023 with a variety of interesting and commemorative events. These include: High Table, an outing for Blue Jays baseball game, lectures, and a pictorial display. Colleagues with any current or previous links to Massey College are encouraged to keep track of promotional communications and are assured of rekindling past friendships and updates of Massey's Fall calendar.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Friesen Prize Program and the 15th anniversary of the founding of FCIHR, high level Roundtables were organized to address major issues in Canadian Science and Education. These Roundtables were held in Ottawa in conjunction with the 2015 Friesen Prize Program featuring Sir Paul Nurse, the 2015 Laureate.

These Roundtables brought together leading scientists and educators to express their ideas and vision with respect to Discovery Science and the Future of PhDs in Canada. Their thoughts assembled here are informative, provocative and are worth sharing widely.
